Federici Praises Young Royals

Federici Praises Young Royals

Reading 'keeper Adam Federici has praised the Reading youngsters after their professional performance dumped Luton out of the Carling Cup.

Jem Karacan, Alex Pearce and James Henry all got on the score sheet as Reading trounced a dirty Luton side 5-1 and Federici had nothing but praise for the youngsters.

He said, 'It was a great performance all over, and these lads do it every week in the reserves. They are a good bunch and they can slot in.'

Federici was also pleased with his own performance and is hoping to challenge Reading's No.1 Marcus Hahnemann this season.

Federici coninued, 'It was a good game to play in and it did my confidence the world of good. I feel great in a Reading shirt and I just look forward to more games now.

'Hopefully I can play more games this season now, obviously we're in the next round and I don't mind who it's against, anybody is good!'
