Marek Returns

Reading's Czech Republic midfielder Marek Matejovsky will make his return from injury in a reserve game against Brighton at the Madejski Stadium this afernoon, kick off 2pm.

Matejovsky has been sidelined since picking up an injury in the first game off the season. Marek had only just returned from a previous injury sustained playing for his country in the European Championships.

This afternoon Marek is likely to re-form his partnership in central midfield, with James Harper, who has struggled to get back into the first team following a short-term injury.

Meanwhile, four of Reading's stars will be international action tonight.

Kevin Doyle, Stephen Hunt and Shane Long are all in the Republic of Ireland's squad to face Cyprus tonight. Doyle will be starting for the Irish, with Hunt and Long having to settle for a place on the bench.

The other Royal in action tonight, is Brynjar Gunnarsson. His Iceland side host Macedonia.
