Pre-Season In Sweden

Reading have revealed that they will be taking part in a pre-season tour of Sweden as they prepare for their first season in the Premiership.

The Royals are virtually in the Premiership, another win should do the trick although they might well have enough points with the 90 they have accumulated already.

Director of football Nick Hammond told the club's official website: 'We've been to Sweden for the last three years and the trips have been very well organised and we've been well looked after.

'We are likely to be there in late July and early August.'

Looks to me the sort of club that could do a Wigan and stay up with some ease. Will look forward to the visit to Villa Park next season, unless a disaster happens for the claret and blue that is!

I think Reading should stay up with ease - Madjeski definitely has the money to invest and he would be foolish not too, but even then I think the current squad is pretty good.
