Reading 1-0 Blackpool: Manager Reactions

How did Steve Coppell and Simon Grayson react after Reading's 1-0 win over Blackpool at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday? Lets take a look.

Reading manager Coppell knows all about playing with 10-men, but against them his side found it difficult, with a second goal having probably made the win more comfortable: 'We scored and then there was the sending-off and we've obviously found in recent weeks that the mentality changes with 10 men,' Coppell told BBC Sport. 'If we'd got a second we would have relaxed but we know playing against 10 men is difficult and we got anxious.

'We gave away too many silly fouls, but we did enough in the end.

Blackpool manager Grayson felt that decisions went against his side, and they should've had a cast iron penalty: 'One or two things have contrived against us. Whether Lee Hendrie should have been sent off, I don't know,' Grayson told BBC Sport. 'We were on the back foot then, but we could have nicked something because we were denied a stonewall penalty.

'Stephen Hunt has caught it with both hands - how it's not been seen is beyond me. We deserved better.'
