'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Nothing to Fear; Says Graydon

Leicester City coach Ray Graydon believes that Reading won’t get it so easy on Saturday when they go to the Walker’s Stadium in search of the win that would put the Royals into the Premiership.

Leicester have had a good run of results of late and lifted themselves up to 15th place in the table, one defeat in their last nine games has lifted the spirits of the Foxes camp.

And its for that reason that Graydon has told his team they have nothing to fear from the Royals and the big crowd should make for a good atmosphere.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Graydon said: 'If you are a Leicester City player at the moment preparing for a game against the league leaders in the form that you are in then you will be thinking 'come on - bring it on - we've got nothing to lose.

'I don't think we have got anything to fear. We know what we are playing the best team in the league because that is what the table tells us.

'There is going to be a big crowd inside the stadium and I am sure the atmosphere will be brilliant. It's certainly the sort of game that I would be eager to get a ticket to see.'

Mmmmm. lets see what he has to say when he is watching over three thousand Royals celebrating on their ground.
DP
Celebrate all you like as it's the last time you will play here for some time. The season after next Leicester will be in the Premiership and you'll be coming straight down!
boningtonfox
I love it when idiots like you spout off over a second rate team like leicester. Always next season isn't it? Thats because you couldn't win an argument. Your days in the top flight are well and truely over
DP
i really hope you put six past the crisp bowl warriors!

You Royals have a lot to learn, we have lot of experience of the top league (whichever title it had over the years). When you come back down next season you will have learned lesson no.1, when we have rebuilt and go up and stay up in a couple of seasons, that will be lesson no.2. How many seasons in your history have you been there so far? Expect a shock on Saturday.....
bluefox
no you dont have a lot of experience in the top league, the team you have now has virtually none. We heard all this ****** from you lot the last time we played. We shut you up then and will do again
DP
blue fox has nailed it. You will ignore these words at your peril. yes you have achieved fantastically this season...BUT..the going will get tough next season, you might do a Wigan..but for every Wigan there are 10 others that struggle like crazy and end up coming straight back. dont kid yourself its a picnic - its tough up there and we only stayed where we did due largely to Martin O'Neill. Four consecutive top 10 finishes and 2 times winners of the League Cup in the space of 6 years. You have no idea what to expect on a week-in, week-out basis. It seems a far cry for us to talk about those days but it wasnt that long ago. You will have to do a lot of praying if you're gonna survive up there. DP, you need a reality check. You are not a big club yet - my bet is you never will be. enjoy next season and do your best to stay up. Second rate club - you know nothing about us then. Please tell me what your club has ever realy achieved...... Every team has a blip in the season, you've steered clear so far and you may well be celebrating soon - but it wont be this weekend. 1-0 Leicester. get used to it...next year will be worse...

You shouldn't have any problems with Leicester. Last time doesn't count really because managerial maestro Craig Levein came down from Scotland and showed the white flag by never serious selecting a team to win the match. Levein has now gone homewards to think again and instead you'll be up against the happy, smiling, self-effacing, one-day-at-a-time Rob Kelly. Rob will simply be preparing his modest team for a relegation battle - he's probably still waiting for someone on the staff to tell him who's its against. He'll doubtless think long and hard about the team and the tactics and then he'll do what he does every time - pick the same side as last week. That's all he ever does match days. Money for old rope to be honest. Kelly's made about three changes since he arrived. He changed the name tag on his office, changed frowns to smiles and changed the pattern of a few results. No big deal. He explains simply that he's paid to win football matches and is just doing his job. It's not a personal thing. Someone left him a copy of the current League table for the last nine games played but he just used it to wrap round a hot plastic cup of coffee and never got around to reading it. Not that anything it says would bother him particularly. He'll just want our team to give whoever they're playing a good game Reading? Yes he's mentioned Reading. Says he's enjoys it cos it helps him relax.
