Blades to sign Lita?

Days after scoring against Watford, some media reports are suggesting that Sheffield Utd claim to have agreed a fee with Reading Football Club for Leroy Lita.

The claims have not been confirmed by Reading as of yet but updates will be posted as and when any news breaks.

Do Sheffield Utd fans see Lita as a replacement for Beattie? Let us know what you think of the potential deal?

i dont think he is as good and i dont think you can compare them both as they are so different. Nevertheless i think lita would score many goals for us and apparantly at a decent price too. bit strange as reading had reported wanting around 300k for him and we have shot in with a 1.25m offer. a little strange but think that reflects are urgancy to bring someone in with beats leaving. i'm quite concerned with his gangster lifestyle though - bit of a trouble causer from many sources???
