LITA REJECTS BLADES BID

Leroy Lita pledged his future to Reading's promotion campaign yesterday after rejecting the chance to join Sheffield Utd. In fact Lita had already rejected the move before Sheffield Utd released details of the bid. Speaking on the Reading FC website, director football Nicky Hammond said, 'We are always open with are players and so when the situation was put to Leroy he rejected it straight away.

It is thought that Leroy Lita wants to keep is options open and is expected to move in the summer as a free agent The price tag would certainly attract the intrests of the Premiership where he can expect a big signing on fee.

Is Lita right to reject the offer?

I'm relieved he rejected us. A "7 figure fee" is way to high for a player out of contract in summer and a diving cheat with a bad reputation!

I'm glad he didn't go as well - would be a step in the wrong direction to a mid table Championship team

Perhaps he thinks that Premier club are going to come in with a bid and he does not want to jump the gun.

A one season wonder who got too big for his boots and needs to get down to some serious self assessment.
