Cox moves to West Brom

Cox left the Madejski Stadium in January 2008 for 200,000 and has been a revolation in his time at local rivals Swindon, scoring 32 goals last season in all competitions.

That form left Royals fans dreaming of Reading boy Cox returning to the club but he has completed the formalities of a long running transfer to West Brom. He becomes Roberto Di Matteo's first signing as the Baggies new manager and will no doubt be looking forward to 27th March 2010 and his return to the Mad Stad.

Its not all bad news though, as we did have a sell on clause with Swindon when we sold him, and we are due some of that money the Robins have received. It is not known exactly how much but rumours say its anything upto 40% - that should boost Brendan Rodgers warchest!
