Reading thrash Swedish part timers

It was never going to be the most difficult of games for the Royals but an emphatic 8-0 win over the Swedish part timers will fill Brendan Rodgers squad with confidence.

The Royals lined up with Rodgers favoured 4-3-3 formation, with Brynjar Gunnarsson in the middle of midfield and wearing the captains armband.

Hal Robson Kanu scored a first half hat trick, while Scott Davies and Simon Church bagged a couple each. Gunnarsson wrapped up the scoring in the last 10 minutes.

Line up - Federici, Rosenior, Cisse (Bikey), Pearce, Bertrand, Gunnarsson, Tabb, Davies, Kebe (Henry), Robson Kanu, Church.
