'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oster Wants New Contract

Reading’s Welsh midfielder John Oster is hoping that the club come up with a good deal when the two parties open contract talks soon.

Oster has made no secret of his desire to stay at the Madejski Stadium and play Premiership football next season as he has already tasted the top flight before.

And Steve Coppell is keen on keeping the player

'I'd like to stay here but we'll have to see what happens with negotiations,' Oster told the Reading Chronicle.

'We spoke about it earlier in the season and hopefully it will be sorted out soon.'
