McAnuff returns from injury

McAnuff returns from injury

Signed back in the middle of August, McAnuff has had to wait a while before he could pull on the famous blue and white hoops but he made his comeback from a back injury in the 2-0 reserve win over Southampton.

McAnuff had three decent chances but each time found the Saints keeper equal to his shots and eventually ended playing an hour.

The game was won thanks to a Dave Mooney penalty after 10 minutes and a second half Michael Antonio goal.

McAnuff will hope to feature in the squad for Saturdays game against his old club Watford.
