Sigurdsson picks up September award

Sigurdsson picks up September award

After a month that saw us win just one game again, there were not too many contenders for this award but Sigurdsson has been superb for the Royals in September including a fantastic first half display away at Peterborough. He scored his first league goal for the club, and had a couple of assists to his name as well, and was the clear winner picking up 40% of the votes.

The remaining votes were split between the other contenders, with August's winner Adam Federici and Simon Church tied in second place.

Grzegorz Rasiak and Ryan Bertrand were a long way back but can still claim joint 4th place!!

Lets hope October will be a better month for the Royals, despite a poor start with the Middlesbrough defeat, and we are here in a month's time talking about how it was so difficult to decide who the winner was as everyone played so well!
