Coppell to return to Brighton?

Coppell left the Madejski Stadium in the summer after failing to get the Royals back in the Premiership at the first time of asking, and has been out of work since then, taking a well deserved break.

However, with his batteries recharged, the feeling is he is now ready to return to management and is the favourite for the vacant position at Brighton, to replace Russell Slade who was sacked this week.

Coppell joined the Royals from Brighton back in 2003 after an 18 month stint at the Withdean and is now seen as the manager to oversee the Seagulls move to their long awaited new stadium at Falmer.
