Church prays for quick recovery
Welsh striker Church was forced off during Saturdays game against Blackpool with a hip injury, after falling awkwardly and was replaced by match winner Grzegorz Rasiak.
He went down appearing to be in agony but the injury has calmed down and he is hoping to be fit in time to play against Derby on Saturday.
Royals fans will be hoping he is because we are fast running out of strikers! Shane Long is still suffering with an ankle injury and a return at Pride Park is still in doubt, leaving Rasiak as our only fit striker.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he has suffered set backs in his persuit of a loan striker, but will not give up hope before the emergency loan window closes in a week.
