'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Liverpool game on TV

After getting an attractive draw against Liverpool in the FA cup third round, it was to be expected but today it has been confirmed that the game will be live on ITV1.

The tie remains on the Saturday (which is good news to all Sunday footballers!), but will kick off at 5:15pm.

It will be the first time the Royals have been on terrestial TV since the 3-2 FA Cup 5th round replay with Manchester United in 2007, when goals from Gabriel Heinze, Louis Saha and Ole Gunnar Solkjaer gave Utd a 3-0 lead before goals from Dave Kitson and Leroy Lita gave us hope of forcing extra time.

The club have also announced reduced tickets for the game, meaning their is sure to be a bumber crowd inside the ground as well as a large worldwide audience.
