'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Question marks over Federici?

The keeper came out fighting after Tuesday's defeat to Crystal Palace, calling for more consistancy and laid into his defenders for 'making it easy to shoot round our own box.' He certainly has a point, some of the defending was hopeless but he must take some of the blame himself.

The first goal was a daisy cutter from fully 25 yards out and even if he was wrong footed, he should have had time to readjust and save that. And he claimed the second goal 'moved all over the place' but in my opinion that was another one he should have kept out.

Fair play to Victor Moses because his two goals were fine strikes and Federici had no chance but the Royals number 1 must take some blame for the disappointing defeat.

Federici has performed admirably since taking over the number 1 jersey in the summer but Tuesday night was a low point and he has understandably come in for some critism from Royals fans.

He will be looking to bounce back on Saturday against Scunthorpe, as will the rest of the team.

Di you think Federici was at fault on Tuesday? Let us know your thoughts.
