Who do you want to see as the next Royals manager?

Of course the speculation has started already and the board are sure to insist that we have had a great calibur of applicant but to me the same old names are cropping up for every managerial vacancy that ever comes up these days!

Darren Ferguson, now out of work, is the favourite but mainly because we approached his former club Peterborough for permission to speak to him before Rodgers was appointed.

Other out of work managers that have been linked include Paul Jewell, George Burley and Gareth Southgate. The former Royals also get mentioned with Phil Parkinson another that fans would love to see in the hot seat whilst Steve Coppell is also a name that is sure to be mentioned!

So who do you want to see as the next manager, here at Vital Reading we want to know your views so please leave your comments below and let us know your thoughts.

would Coppell even contemplate comingback?

Would be a massive step backwards if he did. I wouldn't put it past Madejski though.....
