O'Dea returns to Celtic

O'Dea returns to Celtic

Big things were expected of O'Dea when he arrived from Celtic in the summer on loan until January but he has rarely lived up to the hype and some of his performances have been shocking!

His last appearance for the Royals came in the 4-1 defeat at QPR and Brian McDermott didn't even include him on the bench at Bristol City last weekend.

He is back at Celtic, however in the event of a major injury crisis he could return to feature in the Christmas games against Swansea and Plymouth.

Meanwhile young forwards Abdulai Bell-Baggie and Jake Taylor have been handed squad numbers and could bolster the attacking options available to McDermott with Simon Church suspended for those festive games.
