'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Strong reserve side defeats Fake Hoops!

With a lack of reserve team football lately, the Royals scheduled a behind closed doors friendly with QPR and a number of first team players featured.

Zurab Khizanishvili played a full 90 minutes, starting in the centre of midfield but moving back to the heart of defence after just 15 minutes. Marek Matejovsky played the first half on his return from injury, and James Henry also made his comeback.

Alex Pearce, Hal Robson Kanu, Nicholas Bignall and Jay Tabb were other first teamers to be involved, whilst Shaun Cummings also got a run out.

Bignall, Robson-Kanu and captain Pearce grabbed the goals in a 3-0 win at Hogwood Park.
