Kelly joins Wycombe

Kelly was a regular in the first team squad under Steve Coppell last season but has missed a large part of this season with a shoulder injury, that required surgery.

He has recently returned to action and played in the last 2 reserve games. However Brian McDermott is a strong critic of the standard of the reserve division we are currently in and has sent the young full back out on loan.

The 19 year old will join up with Wycombe for an inital month and will go straight into Gary Waddocks squad for the visit of Millwall this weekend.

It continues the good relationship we have with the Chairboys, after Scott Davies returned with glowing reports from a similar loan spell at Adams Park.

Good move for the lad, hopefully he will get some games underhis belt. Wouldn't be surprised to see it extended for the season if this month goes well.
