'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ex Royal watch

Away from the drama at the Hawthorns on Wednesday night there was plenty of other football going on elsewhere. The games of interest for a couple of ex Royal 'spots' were at Stoke and the San Siro!

Dave Kitson climbed off the bench to score a wonderful goal for Stoke in their 5th round replay against Man City. The former Royals favourite has not had the best of times this season but he would have been delighted to have scored such an important goal.

Also in the news was Chelsea keeper Petr Cech who picked up a nasty looking knee injury in Chelsea's defeat to Inter Milan in the Champions League. When the keeper was helped off he was assisted by new Blues physio, none other than former Royals physio, Jon Fearn!

Dave Kitson's goal was class! Completely forgotten that Fearn was at Chelsea until I saw SSN with him helping Cech off the pitch...
