Dean in the middle

The experienced Premier League referee will officate the eagerly anticipated game at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday. The offical from the Wirral has taken charge of a number of fixtures at the Madejski Stadium before including a game against Portsmouth during our second season in the Premiership when he sent off Ibrahima Sonko in the first 2 minutes.

He was in the middle for Chelsea's home game against Man City at the weekend when he sent off Juliano Belletti and Michael Ballack for the home side.

He will be assisted by Simon Beck and Dave Ryan, whilst young top flight offical Mike Jones will be the 4th official.

Keep it Vital Reading for all the build upto the big game!!

Whats everyone's opinion of Mike Dean? During our time in the Premiership I thought he was one of the top officials and surprised he isn't going to the world cup ahead of Howard Webb.
