'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ivar a doubt

Royals skipper Ivar Ingimarsson is rated doubtful ahead of Wednesday's trip to Leicester after suffering a hamstring injury in the closing stages of Saturday's draw with Middlesbrough.

The Icelandic defender was replaced by Zurab Kizhanishvili for the dying seconds at the Riverside, and the on loan Blackburn defender is likely to come into the starting 11 at the Walker Stadium if Ingimarsson doesn't make it.

That would mean Matt Mills taking over the captains armband, as he has done succesfully in two previous games this season.

There are no other new injury concerns for Brian McDermott though ahead of the game, and other than one possible enforced change, he should name the same side that got a point in the North East.
