McDermott and Gylfi up for awards

Its been a fantastic March for the Royals with 4 wins and 2 draws seeing us go undefeated in the month. And for the second month running Brian McDermott is up for the manager of the month award.

He is up against Chris Hughton, Sean O'Driscoll and Roberto Di Matteo and the winner will be announced during Gillete Soccer Saturday at the weekend.

The player of the month award will also be hotly contested and Royals midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson is sure to be one of the favourites for the award.

He will battle it out with Graham Dorrans, Peter Lovenkrands and Adel Taarabt. The best player for the month of March will be announced on Soccer AM on Saturday morning, tune in from about 9.30am to find out if Gylfi wins it, if you don't normally watch!
