Royals fans want Bertrand to stay

Royals fans want Bertrand to stay

Its fair to say that our recent upturn in results over the past few months has partly been down to the form of a number of loanees that we have in the squad currently. Andy Griffin has been outstanding at right back whilst Zurab Kizhanishvili has slotted in with ease at the heart of the defence in the absence of Ivar Ingimarsson. They both joined our on loan left back Ryan Bertrand who has been at the Madejski Stadium since the summer.

We asked you if you could only keep one of the loan players, who would it be and the clear winner was Bertrand. The Chelsea left back has been in fantastic form for the club this season, even during the short lived Brendan Rodgers era and has linked well on the left hand side with the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jimmy Kebe.

The full results are below, with rarely used striker Gunnar Thorvaldsson also in the poll but not very popular!

Ryan Bertrand 43%
Andy Griffin 22%
Zurab Kizhanishvili 19%
Gunnar Thorvaldsson 16%
