Federici makes World Cup
Federici was included in the preliminary squad last month, one of four goalkeepers, and on Wednesday he was confirmed in the final 23 for the World Cup.
The Aussie's are already in South Africa and if he plays then he would become only the second current Reading player to appear at the World Cup. Bobby Convey was a regular in the Royals side when he went to the 2006 World Cup with USA, whilst Marcus Hahnemann was also in the squad but didn't feature.
Fed's was an unused sub on Tuesday as the Australian's beat Denmark 1-0 in a friendly but will hope to be involved when they face England's first opponents USA on Saturday.
