Griffin signs!

A long on going transfer saga was finally concluded on Thursday when Andy Griffin's move to the Madejski Stadium on a permanent deal was confirmed. The Royals have paid a nominal fee to Stoke City for his services and the right back has signed a two year contract.

I don't need to tell you how succesful his loan spell was last season and he became a hugely popular figure with his team mates, the manager and most importantly of all, the fans.

The former Newcastle and Portsmouth defender will wear the squad number 2 and was at Hogwood to being pre season training on Thursday morning with the rest of the squad.
