Cisse completes City move

Royals midfielder Kalifa Cisse has today completed his 500,000 move to Championship rivals Bristol City, to join up with former manager Steve Coppell.

Cisse was signed by Coppell in the summer of 2007 when he moved from Boavista but has struggled to find a regular place in the Royals midfield.

His last appearance came in the 3-1 defeat at Sheffield United back in January, and since then he has found himself behind the likes of Jay Tabb and Brian Howard for a place in the side.

Director of football Nicky Hammond told the Official Site, 'The timing of the move is right for us, we have a lot of quality in midfield and Kalifa has not played a lot of football recently.'
