Rodgers to Swansea?

Rodgers has been out of work since getting the sack at the Madejski Stadium in December, following a poor run of results. However he could soon be back in work at one of our Championship rivals, Swansea City, and is would appear he is one of the front runners for the job just because he likes to play pretty football!

You have to say he would be the perfect man for Swansea as they like to play a passing style of football, but never score any goals and are not as entertaining to watch as they think they are!

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the official Swans site, 'He was highly thought of at Chelsea, he did a good job at Watford and then things didn`t go as he would have liked them to at Reading for a variety of reasons. But he is somebody we have talked about from day one because of his footballing beliefs.'

Reading and Watford fans would mark the Swansea fixtures in their diary's if he appointed at the Liberty Stadium. The disappointing news though is that Gary Speed remains the front runner for the job!
