Another win on tour

Zapresic are a top flight Croatian team full of internationals, and a goalkeeper who is set to join Chelsea next summer. So it was pleasing to record such a convincing win in our second game on tour.

The Royals dominated from start to finish and took the lead after just 4 minutes when Matt Mills headed home Gylfi Sigurdsson's cross. Just after the half way point in the first half we scored a second when James Henry tapped home from Simon Church's ball in.

Alex McCarthy played the whole game in goal and made a superb double save in the first half and did well to keep a clean sheet.

Jimmy Kebe and Jobi McAnuff both played half an hour in the second half after recovering from injuries picked up earlier in the week, and Noel Hunt looked lively when he came on.

We finish our pre season fixtures in Slovenia on Tuesday with a game against NK Celje.

Fantastic win by all accounts, good to see Henry playing well and scoring.
