Its all about the fitness!

Its all about the fitness!

We have been asking you to let us know what you think is the most important thing to come out of the Royals current pre season friendlies, and the results are here.

The most important, and clear winner, was fitness. Our training camp in Slovenia and subsequent games against decent opposition have left us in good stead heading into the new season and it looks like Brian McDermott has the same idea as you guys.

2nd place was the result. That surprised me a lot as I would have thought the performance would have got the greater number of votes but apparantly you care more about the result and the ego of an unbeaten pre season schedule!

The full results were -

Fitness 57%
Result 29%
Performance 14%

Don't forget to vote in our latest poll, asking you what we will achieve this season.
