Hunt continues comeback as reserves draw

Ok so it was a couple of days ago now, but I have been struck down with a virus and only just found out about it! However the reserves took on Leyton Orient on Tuesday afternoon, and Noel Hunt continued his comeback.

Of course we no longer compete in a reserve league, so this game was a behind closed doors friendly. Initially it was arranged for Ivar Ingimarsson to make his first steps in a comeback from a hamstring injury but he was not ready for the game, but it did Hunt no harm.

He scored the goal in the first half, and played 45 minutes on his road to recovery. Fans that travelled to Pompey on Saturday will have seen what an impact he made and with more minutes under his belt, he could well make a starting return this weekend against Forest.

Other players to feature in the game were Hal Robson Kanu, who appears to have slipped behind Michail Antonio in the pecking order, Jake Taylor, Scott Davies and Shaun Cummings.
