Injury crisis easing?

Since the opening day of the season when we lost the game, and a number of players to injury, we have been struggling. However Brian McDermott could welcome back a few players this weekend for the visit of Nottingham Forest.

Vice Captain Matt Mills, who has been out with an ankle injury sustained against Scunthopre, is likely to return to the heart of defence. He told the Official Site, 'Its coming along nicely, so I'm confident for Forest.'

Shane Long also returned to training on Thursday morning, whilst knocks picked up by Jobi McAnuff, Jem Karacan, Simon Church and Jimmy Kebe have all cleared up and they will be ok for the weekend.

Jay Tabb however is still receiving treatment on an ankle injury and will miss out, and Ivar Ingimarsson is still no where near match fit after pulling out of a reserve game on Tuesday.
