Tabb set for surgery
Tabb found himself on the bench for the opening game of the season against Scunthorpe, a large part of the reason we lost. He was however restored for the 1-0 win over Torquay in the Carling Cup, but unfortunatly picked up an ankle injury in that game.
After resting the injury for a couple of weeks in has been decided that he will need surgery and is set to miss at least the next 6 weeks.
Suddenly we have gone from a club that was overloaded with centre midfielders, we are now struggling in that department especially as Brynjar Gunnarsson looks like he will have to deputise at right back.
Another massive blow for the Royals threadbare squad, already depleted after just 4 games!
