Cox Royals Return?

After hitting the winning goal against Man City for his West Brom side in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night, you might have expected Simon Cox to be looking forward to a weekend Premiership game. However the likelyhood is he will be back on the bench for the Baggies, so has opened himself up for a loan move to the Championship.

Cox left the Madejski Stadium in January 2008 and has gone onto big things at West Brom, after a spell at Swindon. However he has not been a regular in the West Midland's side starting 11 and is desperate to play first team football.

He said, 'If there is someone out there who would benefit me in the Championship then that is something I would look at, but that`s between myself, the manager and obviously any club interested.'

A loan move for Cox would be a great addition to the squad and help fill the void left by Gylfi Sigurdsson. Watch this space!
