Tabb the new Sig?

Jay Tab was back in the Royals starting 11 after an injury lay off and in the advanced midfield role, and his performance has earned him plenty of praise. After speaking to the Reading Post it's clear he loves playing in thay position.

'I prefer that role, it`s where I played for Brentford. I`ve got big shoes to fill as Gylfi used to play there and Brian Howard, Jobi and Jake Taylor can also play in that position.'

With Howard also in the team it was a surprise to see him line up there but he put in a fine display and as long as he can chip in with a few goals then it could well be a long term option.

The return to the starting 11 came sooner than Tabb would have expected but he managed to last nearly all the game.

'Personally I was a little bit surprised to be playing, but the manager came up to me on Thursday and asked me if was ready. I would probably have preferred one more reserve game before coming back, but when the manager asks if you want to play you don`t say no.'

Personally Tabb is one of my favourite players and its fantastic to see him back.
