Leeds game near sell out

The Royals announced on Wednesday morning that Saturdays game against Leeds is nearly sold out and less than 1000 tickets remain for the visit of the former Premier League giants.

The visitors have taken all of the South Stand and sold out their allocation as they have done for nearly all their away games this season.

It would appear that a number of away fans have snapped up tickets in the home ends and sections of Leeds fans look set to be spread all across the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Whilst the visit of Leeds was always likely to attract more fans that recent games against Doncaster and the like, you are not telling me that nearly 7,000 Royals fans have come out of the woodwork for the visit of a team that was in League One last season! The increase attendance is down to away fans in the home ends - simple as that.

The Madejski stadium stewards better be alert if a Leeds goal goes in as trouble is sure to start. The way we are defending at the moment, that is more than likely!

Are you a Leeds fans going to the game? Do you have a ticket in the home end? Let us know....

Why should trouble start if Leeds score ???
Tiny T
As long as those away fans in the home end keep quiet, and don't wear colours, then there will be no problems. However is that likely to happen if Leeds score? All of them?
South Bank
Having sat in the home end for the last two visits of Leeds, we have had plenty in the home end with no trouble at all and people have wore colours. To suggest we have 7.000 in the home end is ludicrous. Regarding we have nearly sold out all our allocations this season, try all in the league for the past three seasons. 6,700 to Barnsley, 6,300 to Coventry. Your only here to watch the Leeds

The police at Coventry ushered all the Leeds fans in the home areas to the Leeds end of the ground.
