'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Locke joins Daggers

Young keeper Locke is probably 5th choice keeper at the Madejski Stadium but looked impressive during a few run outs in pre season, including against Farnborough when he would have scored if Noel Hunt hadn't tapped it in on the line!

He has now joined League One Dagenham on loan until January where he will hope to get his first taste of League football.

He has enjoyed a similar spell at Gillingham but despite some good experience, he didn't feature for the Gills.

Best of luck to Simon, and you can now follow him on Twitter (@slocke123) as he has joined a number of Royals stars on the Social Networking site - as well as @VitalReading!
