We need the squad
With the busy Christmas schedule coming up manager Brian McDermott has reassured his squad players that they will have a part to play in the coming weeks.
The Royals play on the 26th and 28th of December before starting January with games on 1st, 3rd and 8th. Speaking to the official Site McDermott said,
'We'll need everybody and you tend to think there is no chance everybody will play in every one of those games.'
That will be music to the ears of Zurab Kizhanishvili, Brian Howard and Simon Church who have found themselves on the bench in recent weeks.
However McDermott may be looking to make some chances as soon as this Saturday after a run of draws has seen us without a win since the end of October.
