'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Were not selling anymore!

With the previous 2 seasons transfer windows full of our best players being sold Brian McDermott has come out and insisted that that will not be happening this January. The Royals gaffer lost Gylfi Sigurdsson to Hoffenheim in August but that sale has put us back on an even financial footing meaning the likes of Shane Long will not be sold.

McDermott told the BBC, 'In the summer we sold Gylfi Sigurdsson and at that point we had no choice. We are not in that situation now so I have no plans to sell any of our players in January.'

Shane Long had been linked with West Ham but he himself came out after his two goals against Burnley to say he wants to stay here.

With Mikele Leigertwood set to sign permanently, to make it a perfect window we would secure Federici to a new deal and sign a new striker, preferably Charlie Austin from Swindon. Here's hoping!
