Bradley Wright Phillips set to sign?

It's no secret that we are in the hunt for a new striker and it appears we have finally found him!

Both Sky Sports and BBC Sport are reporting that a fee has been agreed with Plymouth for Bradley Wright Phillips, brother of Man City's Shaun and son of former Arsenal striker Ian Wright.

Wright Phillips is a former Man City and Southampton player, and has so far scored 13 league goals for the Pilgrims this season.

Blackpool had a bid turned down earlier in the week, believed to be just 20,000, but we have clearly met the asking price with Plymouth in desperate financial trouble a seeking to raise 500,000 to clear an HMRC tax bill.
