Hamer moves to Exeter
Young goalkeeper Ben Hamer has joined League One side Exeter on loan for three months in a bid to gain regular first team football. Hamer was understudy to Adam Federici last season and began this season on the bench at the Madejski Stadium, but has since been on loan to Brentford.
After impressing at Griffin park 2 seasons ago, this spell at the Bee's was not so succesful and he spent a lot of the time as back up to Richard Lee.
He will compete for a starting place with Exeter's current number 1 Paul Jones and it will be interesting to see if he can force his way in at St James Park after his stock has fallen slightly in the last year.
