Royals line up Robins friendly

Reading have finalised their final pre-season friendly, which will be against local rivals Swindon Town at the County Ground.

The game will take place 7 days before the NPower Football League season begins for both teams, on the 30th July, 3.00 PM K.O.

It will also see current Royals Sean Morrison and Hal Robson-Kanu return to their former stamping ground, with Kanu playing 20 games for the Robins, scoring 4 goals in the process.

It will be the first time the two sides have faced each other since 2002 and it will also be new manager Paulo Di Canio's first home game.

Not exactly the 'showpiece' friendly that both teams would have wanted but I'm sure it will be a fantastic game, with a good following from us Royals fans!
