Reading XI thrash Farnborough
Reading XI thrashed Conference South side Farnborough FC 7-2 at the Rushmoor Stadium Tuesday evening.
The starting line up included Noel Hunt and Jay Tabb, while trialist Ibrahima Sonko had another opportunity to stake his claim for a contract with his former club.
8 of the 9 goals came in the first half and the scoring was opened by the Republic of Ireland international Hunt, who also finished the scoring on 78 minutes.
Brett Williams also managed to bag himself a 30 minute hat trick, as youngsters Jacob Walcott and Ryan Edwards added to the scoresheet.
Farnborough did manage to hit back 2 goals through striker Reece Connolly, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Royals' domination.
