Vital Reading Player of the Month goes to.....

The Vital Reading Player of the Month Award goes to striker Mathieu Manset, winning with 42% of the vote, chosen by you.

It hasn't been a great month for the Royals as a team but Manset has shone on various occasions, mainly in our opening game against Millwall where he scored two fantastic goals to rescue a point at the death.

Adam Federici came in second in the voting with 16%, after some fine performances between the sticks and saved the Royals from making some of the score lines much worse on some occasions.

These are the poll results:

Adam Federici 16%

Jem Karacan 0%

Mikele Leigertwood 14%

Jimmy Kebe 14%

Jobi McAnuff 0%

Hal Robson-Kanu 14%

Matheiu Manset 42%
