Colchester extend Antonio deal

Colchester United have taken up the option to extend winger Michail Antonio's current deal beyond a month, which has been agreed by his parent club Reading.

The London-born winger has been a big hit at the Colchester Community Stadium and U's manager John Ward has expressed his delight of extend Antonio's deal.

'Michail gives us a different dimension. He likes to travel with the ball and take people on, which means we move up the pitch quicker. He's done really well for us' explained the 60-year old.

He has made 21 appearances for the Royals, scoring on one occasion against Burnley last season.
