Royals interested in Stevenage striker
According to coventrycity-mad.co.uk, Reeading are chasing Stevenage forward Craig Reid, following some good performances in League One this season.
The former Coevntry striker helped 'Boro to winning the League Two play-offs last season and has been in a rich vein of form already this season, scoring 4 goals.
With the signing of Cedric Baseya, an approach for the 25-year old would seem unlikely but McDermott could keep tabs on the foward.
Reid had a very impressive scoring record at Newport County, scoring 54 goals in 86 games.
In other news, young academy defender Dominic Samuel has been called up to the England Under 19 squad.
