'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Church enjoying new partnership

Reading striker Simon Church has said he is relishing his newly formed strike partnership with Adam Le Fondre.

The pair have worked well together over recent games and have developed a good understanding, which has accomplished four games in five games for the pair.

The Welsh international told the RFC official site: 'Alfie and I have really clicked, that's what the gaffer wanted, to find a partnership, and at the moment it's going really well.'

Church is currently with the Wales squad, aiming to gain a place in Gary Speed's line up with the 22-year old in fine form for his club.

'With Manny coming off the bench and Noel doing what everyone knows he can do we've got great options up front at the moment. It's not for me to say who's first choice; I've got to keep my head down.'
