Gorkss: We must win our home games

Reading defender Kaspars Gorkss believes Reading should realisitcally be winning their home games if we are to continue our unbeaten run and shoot up the league.

The Latvian captain signed from QPR in August for 900k and is quickly paying back that fee by putting in some fine defensive performances alongside Alex Pearce.

Kaspars speaking to the Reading Chronicle said: 'We're on a little run and we need to try and build on that now. Hopefully we can do that and get some wins under our belt.'

The central defender was also pleased with a point at home to Middlesbrough, saying it was a fair result with both defences on form last Saturday.

'We had a couple of good chances at the beginning of the game and a couple in the second-half, but Boro had chances too, so a draw was probably fair.'

Gorkss was an ever present in QPR's Championship winning season last term and said it wouldn't be impossible for the Royals to be doing the same.

'But there's not a lot of difference between any team in this division so where you are in the table doesn't mean that much right now.'
