Antonio's Colchester loan extended

Reading winger Michail Antonio has extended his current loan deal at League one outfit Colchester United by an additional and final month.

The 21-year old's loan spell was due to end after Saturday's game against Rochdale but John Ward has moved quickly to secure the midfielder for an extra month.

Antonio told the Daily Gazette: "I`m enjoying my football and being in the team. The more games I play the sharper I get and I hope I can continue getting games."

The former Southampton loanee has been in hot form of late two goals in as many games for the U's, adding to his current goal tally of three for the club.

Michail has already notched up 22 appearances for his parent club Reading, scoring one goal last season in the same fixture as this Saturday against Burnley.
